I've been where you are now, so based on my experience when I got my first dog, I have written this audiobook to help other first time dog owners or those thinking of getting in to ownership for the first time. When I decided I wanted a dog, I thought about it long and hard, did my research, put the time in to thinking about which dog was best for me and my circumstances, prepared my home, and then started the journey as a new owner through bonding with my new pal via training her the basics and going from there.
It was new for both of us, but we got through it and it was a magical experience, though it did take some work. Given that owning a dog for the first time is so new as well as such a big responsibility, I thought that writing this book aimed at those thinking of getting a dog for the first time may be of benefit. I hope you think so too. Inside is practical advice based on my own experience as a new dog owner myself.

I'm about halfway through the 'how to' in this book for our 12-week-old rescued Puerto Rican Sato dog, and so far it hasn't led me wrong. :-) Been working on 'come' and 'sit' and 'heel' but it's a bit premature for such a young puppy.
The only downside of this book is it would have been a lot more enjoyable if it had pictures of the author with his greyhound doing a lot of the steps or sketched doodle diagrams or pictures of things like the recommended 'puppy kit' instead of a link.

Don't let the page numbers fool you. Even though this book has just 31 pages, it's one of the most detailed and thorough book I have read on initial Dog training. If you never had a dog before, this book will help you to bring home a new buddy, train him the initial A,B,C,Ds (dog language).
I am so happy I brought this book. I needed this. Thanks a lot mate.
Helpful and I actually used it.
This book is full of knowledge if you are like me and thing about getting a dog. It takes away the fear factor, and brings in the fact that this is a fun thing to be doing. After reading this, I now have a step by step guide to getting the newest member of my family.
